I went to church
You were not there
You said you would be there
Everyone else was
Your brothers and sisters
Your friends and family
Was it something I did or said
The words are truth and the light of the world
Was it something people did?
The blood covers all sins and gives grace
Was it something the church did?
The body of christ needs all its parts
Even the ones that hurt sometimes
